Pitch and ground checks are required by captains at 9am at all venues for Saturday Dec 9. These are mandatory for home sides and optional for visiting sides. Captains must SMS their view by 9.30am after also assessing the BOM radar and forecasts.
Options are Normal Start, Delayed Start (2pm), Abandon for Wet Ground, or Abandon for Wet Forecast.
Visiting captains may submit the last option without checking the ground. It will only be adopted if both sides opt to abandon.

Covers may NOT be removed at this stage after the inspection.
