Note: Officials HQ assumes by default that you are available. If your availability changes AFTER 8pm Sunday prior you the weekend in question, you MUST email or SMS me*

Appointments allocated for the following weekend. Can extend to Thursday night if Club Umpires are helping us out.

General notice to the whole panel with information and updates. Once the early season chaos and OHQ quirks are sorted out, these will resume, likely via this website.

You MUST accept your appointment in OfficialsHQ. If your availability changes after receiving an appointment notification, you MUST email or SMS me, up to 6pm Friday*

IF IT IS AFTER 6PM FRIDAY YOU MUST CALL ME AND AT THE VERY LEAST LEAVE ME A MESSAGE*

If something happens that will, or is going to, delay you and make you late to your ground (arriving less than 1 hour before the scheduled start), first ring your partner (see below if you are sole umpire) and let him know that you are delayed, give him an approximate time you will arrive so that he can inform the captains and start performing the pre-match routine on his own until you arrive. Then SMS or email me after the day’s play to inform me what happened. I’d rather hear it from you than 2nd or 3rd hand.*

If you are sole umpire, you will need to call me immediately you are aware of the problem that will delay you if you are going to be more than 15 minutes late. Or if you have the home team contact details (check MCA Contacts on this website) that will ensure the message gets to the home captain at least, then do that and follow the after game process as above to SMS or email me.*
