All Round 1 matches abandoned

All Round 1 matches have now been abandoned.

While most matches were abandoned by Wednesday evening, and others progressively over Thursday and then Friday morning, hopes that club curators at Dane Rd and Greenwich Reserve could at least use Sunday morning to finish off pitches have been dashed overnight.

Round 2 home sides outside the City of Melbourne are again required to advise via email to the match secretary by Wednesday 10am whether their curator is able to prepare a pitch for the October 10-11 weekend.
