Play is ABANDONED in all of today's matches, based on views of captains and checks of ground conditions.

Covers should be left on at all City of Melb grounds, and at all other grounds with Sunday matches unless ground authorities have directed otherwise. Sunday "away" sides able to keep their home pitch covered as a back-up are asked to do so and advise the Match Secretary.

Sunday sides will be required to do pitch checks at 8.30am tomorrow, and to dry and put away covers by Sunday evening.
